Day 1 - Facilitator Embodiment

The way we show up has an immediate influence on the quality and effectiveness of our intervention. When we talk and act from a centered state we are more inclusive, have access to big picture thinking and can hold tensions with much more ease.

In this session you will discover your own unique stress pattern and learn to recognize it. You will practice techniques to quickly move from a state of (mild) stress to a centered state and more flow.

In this session we build further on the core facilitation techniques. You will become aware and experience the positive effect of facilitating from the mind, the heart and body. It is a key differentiator in bringing out the best in groups and people.

Day 2 - Visual Facilitation

Whether you are facilitating or participating, visualizing concepts, relationships and conclusions will help you and your colleagues to deepen understanding and memorization. Visually facilitating will also boost creativity and stimulate conversations and focus.

In this session you will learn to use visualizations to facilitate more conscious participation. A lot of information is thrown at us in a cognitive, sequential way (text) but that is not the way most of us understand and remember things. A lot of people are visual, spatial learners which means that the use of images and visual connections, next to only text, helps the group to understand and remember.

We will focus on the powerful combination of visualizing and facilitating in this session.

Day 3 - Facilitate group reflection & learning

In a healthy organisation, evaluating and learning fast are crucial. Therefore, facilitating group reflection and learnings, are one of the most important processes to facilitate.

However, most teams struggle with facilitating reflections and learnings: postponing, low energy and commitment or little action are often seen. But, it doesn‘t have to be like this!

In this session we will take you through the design process ‘Design for harvest’. We will also discuss several techniques for each step in the group reflection and learning process.
