Description

More and more people are working from home, on the road, abroad or in project groups. What these people have in common is NOT having their manager around. Often, managers are left with questions such as:

Much attention will be paid to the situation of the participants. Everything will therefore be translated to the reality of the participants using examples they bring themselves.

In this interactive workshop, we offer a healthy alternation of theory and exercises around:

  • Giving and receiving trust.
  • Effective communication channels at a distance.
  • How to make non-verbal communication ‘visible’.
  • Gaining insights into your own leadership style and which are the strengths and pitfalls when leading remotely.
  • Output management: how do I steer for results?
  • The necessary behavioural competences of a remote leader through an appreciative survey of the participants themselves.
  • How do I help my employee lead remotely?
  • Leading and/or attending a meeting remotely.

Target audience

The training is intended for anyone who leads remotely in various contexts (international, project-based, nationally dispersed departments,...) or plans to do so, for example in the context of ‘The New World of Work’ or ‘introducing teleworking’ within the organisation.
