Fight or flight?
You are confronted with aggressive behaviour; now what? It is only human to defend yourself, but how? And can you still convey a message to someone in a fit of rage?
In this course, you will learn not only how to reverse aggression, but also why people become aggressive. During the course, the main focus is on DOING. After a short theoretical explanation, you get the chance to apply your knowledge in practice using turn-taking roles.
Tutor / Trainer
From her daily practice as a trainer at ARIADNE Consultancy, Ilse Vantilborgh is always looking for high-quality communication in both commercial and non-business environments. In her career, she has successfully combined business with teaching. Her experience as a branch manager at BACOB has been her starting point for pursuing more customer-oriented communication techniques, both written and oral. She shapes this in her training courses around negotiation, aggression and complaint handling. She also uses her knowledge of neurocognitivism and her expertise in Insights Discovery® to coach (personal) leadership processes. For her training courses, she can draw on extensive didactic experience, which is closely linked to her expertise in Dutch and English communication.
Content of the training
The training is mainly about setting boundaries. Of course, the training is also theoretically based. Understanding neurological systems that underlie aggressive behaviour helps participants adjust themselves and others.
More concretely, the following topics are covered:
Practical
The training takes place in the morning. The afternoon focuses on the competence of delivering bad news (and dealing with the reaction). These courses are closely linked, but can also be taken separately.
If one registers for both courses, it costs only €390 for the two courses together. One can also use an SME portfolio and get up to 40% subsidy on the training.
