  • Basic conditions for delegation: a clear organisational structure of the department with the following aspects:
    • job description
    • analysis of the different tasks
    • the process of delegation (including planning meeting, ...)

Delegation:

  • Why do you want to delegate?
  • What is holding you back?
  • What is the purpose of delegating?
  • Which tasks can and should you delegate?
  • As a manager, what can you delegate and what not?
  • How should you delegate and to whom?
  • How do you hold a delegation meeting?
    • make arrangements
    • determine your objective and what you want to achieve
    • determine what instruction the delegation of the task requires
    • determine what powers the employee needs to perform the task
    • determine what evaluation moments and checkpoints are required
